Russia鈥檚 Putin, Turkey鈥檚 Erdogan call for Libya cease-fire during telephone call

MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan called for a ceasefire in Libya and renewal of a political process under the aegis of the United Nations during a phone call on Tuesday, the Kremlin said in a statement.

They also underscored further close coordination between Russia and Turkey aimed at 鈥渘ormalization鈥� in Syria's Idlib province and agreed on 鈥渆fficient鈥� measures against militants there, the Kremlin said.
